Starting January 2025, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) requires 2013 and newer heavy-duty diesel vehicles to complete Clean Truck testing twice a year to avoid DMV registration holds and monetary penalties.

To meet CARB requirements, follow these simple steps:

  1. Register your vehicle(s) at the Clean Truck Check Login Portal
  2. Pay the registration fee.
  3. Schedule a testing for your diesel truck(s) with a CARB credientialed technician.
  4. Obtain a certificate of compliance as shown on the portal login.
